The driver of this Ford Taurus was transported to the hospital after his car collided with another vehicle on Garden Grove Boulevard at Sungrove Street , in Garden Grove , and then crashed into a 30 foot-tall cement light pole in the center divider. ///ADDITIONAL INFO: - Photo by BRUCE CHAMBERS, THE ORANGE COUNTY REGISTER - photos taken 02/09/09 - At about 7:15 a.m., two cars collided on Garden Grove Boulevard near the intersection Sungrove, in Garden Grove. One the cars was slightly damaged and able to drive away but a burgundy Ford Taurus crossed the center divider and sheared off a cement light pole. The driver was trapped and firefighters helped extricate the driver. The driver was transported to the hospital. Westbound lanes of Garden grove Boulevard were shut down to traffic between Haster Street and Harbor Boulevard for over an hour
