He owns a 1931 Model A, and often has a few more in his driveway that are in need of repairs. Anderson fixes the antique cars for Model A clubs of Tampa, St. Pete, Jacksonville, Orlando and Lakeland. .SUMMARY: Ray Anderson has had a multidecade love with Model A Fords. He always has a couple of ancient Fords in his driveway. He's 78 years old and has owned Model A's for 60 years. He does work mainly for the Model A clubs of Tampa, St. Pete, Jacksonville, Orlando and Lakeland. .When new, the car sold for about 50; now theyêre worth between 5,000 and 8,000, more for roadsters and rare types. At the peak of production in 1930, Ford factories around the world were cranking out a total of 20,000 cars a day.
